For this Mont-Saint-Pierre edition, we're taking you out to play in an exclusive location. If you don't know the Vallée Taconique, this is your chance to explore this outstanding playground located in the inland of Mont-Saint-Pierre, only a few kilometers from the St. Lawrence River.

WORKSHOP
AVALANCE TRANSCEIVER SEARH PARK
Avalanche Québec is offering an avalanche transceiver search park workshop on Sunday at the Vallée Taconique! We rarely have the opportunity to practice with our safety equipment and to work on our reflexes as a team, yet it is essential in the event of an avalanche! On Sunday March 26th, take the opportunity to do one (or more) team searches with your avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe before or during your day.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
EQUIPMENT
The proposed route is marked and secured to the best of our ability, but you should be aware that you will be progressing in semi-autonomous conditions in a remote territory. Plan your equipment accordingly.
FOOD SUPPLIES
The organization will provide provisions on course. It is your responsibility to plan your food for a duration of 5 to 6 hours in the mountains in semi-autonomy.
CUT-OFF
For safety reasons, a time barrier has been established for all routes to ensure that all participants return to base camp before dark. You will find more information in the ULTRA-SKIEUR guide that will be published shortly before the event.

AVALANCHE TRANSCEIVER
It is mandatory to carry a working avalanche transceiver with a shovel and probe for the duration of the challenge.
If you wish to enjoy the Vallée Taconique on Sunday, you will also need to bring them since your visit will be completely self-guided.

ULTRA-SKI BASE CAMP
The ULTRA-SKI base camp is located in La Vallée Taconique. It is the meeting point for all participants and teams.
More details will be provided in the ULTRA-SKIER Guide as to the exact meeting place.
TRAVELLING TO THE VALLÉE TACONIQUE
We would love to accommodate everyone at the same place, but unfortunately this is not possible. However, the event has been organized in such a way to limit travel as much as possible.
Whether you decide to stay at the Sea Shack, in Mont-Saint-Pierre or Mont-Louis, we strongly encourage you to carpool.
ACCOMMODATION
The Sea Shack, partner of the Après-Ski, offers accommodation on site. Bookings can be made via their website.
Limited lodging available.
Other accommodation options are also available inMont-Saint-Pierre, Mont-Louis and Sainte-Anne-des-Monts.
